One Set --- 3 Different Looks

EDITED TO ADD: This post was to be 1 retired set with 3 different looks. Well, this set is NOT in the new catalog, but it is not on the Last Chance List either. Must be on the new Dormant List....but that means it's still available for purchase!
Sweet Stems is the set of choice today....sadly, it's on the Last Chance list. As you can see, this set is a floral one, easy to work with, and lends itself to many different looks. So, today, I'm sharing 3 different, relatively easy cards with you. This first blue one features DSP from the fabulous Hostess Level 1 Paper Pack again....it's a great little packet of papers that comes in many different colors....all in one package! This layout and idea was inspired by this card found on SCS, although it is very much the same, it is also very different. The DSP in Brocade Blue is layered onto a layer of Bashful Blue, with a snippet of Whisper White peaking out below that has been punched with the Eyelet Border Punch. Add in the birthday greeting, that luscious satin ribbon (which is included in the new, upcoming catalog!!...Yipee!!) with the focal point punched out using the Wide Oval Punch and it's both easy and pretty, don't you think?
Stamps: Sweet Stems, Hugs & Wishes*
Inks: Basic Black
CS: Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Brocade Blue
Misc: Patterns Pack DSP (Level 1 Hostess)*, Brocade Blue Marker, Sage Shadow Marker, Blender Pen, Wide Oval Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, White Satin Ribbon, Lots of Tags Sizzlet, Big Shot

Next up is my favorite of the bunch. The flowers are stamped on Watercolor Paper and colored in with markers and a blender pen. The background of the card is simply a DSP layer that is also on the Last Chance List, Raspberry Tart. This DSP features a couple of this year's In Colors, Kiwi Kiss (seen here), and Pink Pirouette. I just LOVE that paper.....I'll definitely miss this one!

Stamps: Sweet Stems, Sweet Little Sentiments (Hostess Level 1)*
Inks: Basic Black
CS: Pink Pirouette*, Watercolor Paper, Very Vanilla
Markers: Pretty in Pink, Royal Rose, Old Olive
Misc: Scallop Border Punch, Pretty in Pink Narrow Grosgrain Ribbon

And last, but not least, my last card is again in blues showcasing a great combo of both what's staying, what's coming, and what is leaving.........the Bashful Blue background was put through the Big Shot with the Texturz plate from Kit #4; the Eyelet Border Punch, some Silver Mini Brads....and that viney-frame is from Matchbox Messages....presently in the Mini Catalog, and soon to be in the brand-new Idea Book & Catalog!

Stamps: Sweet Stems, Matchbox Messages
Inks: Basic Black
CS: Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery
Misc: Bashful Blue & Certainly Celery Markers, Eyelet Border Punch, Bashful Blue Narrow Grosgrain, Silver Mini Brads, Texturz Plate Kit #4, Big Shot

NOTE: ALL materials used to make these card samples are from SU.
*Items are on the Last Chance Lists and will only be available thru June 30, 2009...or while supplies last.
