Buckle it up!

Recently, I participated in a Holiday swap. The criteria was that each swap should be a step above the ordinary...something worthy of a class. It was great fun coming up with this idea. Although I don't believe that I actually copied anything directly, I'm not all too sure that this card is an original idea of mine, either! Probably more like a few ideas that I've seen around, and just combined them.
This is a Buckle Card....sometimes called a Latch Card and looks much more complicated than it really is. This card features 2 background stamps, a word set, Punch Pals, and of course, punches. Punch Pals, as was pointed out at Convention, is actually designed to use with many of the SU punches.....this makes the set loads of fun to use!

Check out this picture of the inside and you can kind of see how it was constructed......mystery solved!

Note that the snowman inside was embossed and then colored using markers for the details (hat band, holly, nose), and Pure Color Pencils.

Stamps: Punch Pals, Sanded Background, Dotted Background

Inks: Bashful Blue, Always Artichoke, Basic Black Craft

CS: Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke (layer inside card)

Punches: Corner Rounder, Word Window, Key Tag, 1 3/8" Round, Scallop

Misc: Pure Colore Pencils, Certainly Celery, Only Orange, and Real Red Markers (coloring in the leaves and berries on the snowman hat), Clear Embossing Powder
