I'm going to a bridal shower later today.....so, of course a beautiful bridal card is needed! And I am loving the way this one came out. Elements of Style from the Summer Mini is just so elegant.....and (in my opinion) reminiscent of the long retired Toile Blossoms, an old favorite. But this has an updated and fresher look......and makes the most amazing cards.
So, for this card, I was going for a vintage, shabby chic type of look and think I came up with it! The Top Note center was stamped with Basic Brown (have not used that in so long!) and then the image was colored in with watercolor crayons. A couple of the flowers came out a bit "murky" so, I re-stamped the image onto a scrap of Blush Blossom, then cut them out, lightly "colored" them in, and popped them up over the original image on Dimensionals.
Lots of sponging going on here.....and added the lovely Kraft Taffeta Ribbon along with a button from the Button Latte collection along with a touch of Linen Thread. I also lightly rolled the background of the card in Blush Blossom, but it seems to have faded away!
