Have you read the news?!! SU is now carrying the Big Shot....this was a HUGE announcement at Convention......AND mine just arrived! This is just so cool! Wait 'till you see it in action!! Of course, I needed to make a card as soon as I removed this "machine" out of the packaging. (I put "machine" in quotes because it is actually manual....see the crank on the right side?) It easily cuts thru a multitude of different materials....everything from cardstock, of course, to felt and other fabrics to chipboard, cork, and so much more!!!

BUT, I see that some must have envisioned the same thing, since a few other demonstrators have beat me to it! So, although it is an idea I've had, and this is really my own version, you can see others here and here. (See? It really IS different!!...but I have to admit to "borrowing the little flower idea made with the 3 For You Punch.)

It cut through the Whisper White CS like butter....smooth and easy. And check out the paper piercing! Cut and pierced in one smooth motion! (Click on the photo to enlarge and see all the glorious detail!) The Big Shot is made by Sizzix....so, if you happen to already own it, you KNOW how fabulous it is!! If not....you'll want to check it out! Some of the dies are exclusive to SU, some are not....not sure about this one, but it is fabulous, don't you think?!!

NOTE: We were told at Convention by the Sizzix representative that the bed of our Big Shot is about 1/2" wider than those being sold by local craft stores. What does that mean? That means that some of our exclusive dies will NOT fit in the other models. Sorry, ladies!
