Bloggers' Challenge -- Die Cuts

Because I just unpacked my brand-new texturized impression plate, Manhattan Flowers, I just HAD to use it!...it was calling me!! LOL Paired up with my very favorite of all the die cuts, the Top Note Die....well, it's just to die for!!

This card is basic and easy, but like many of the cards I post here, it's all dressed up! The Vanilla background is also the card base with just the Top Note layered on top, along with the ribbon and tag.

The Big Shot was a huge component of this card....I'll be posting info in a few days for a class using this fabulously fun tool!....so be on the lookout!! The flowers were stamped randomly in the background, the Top Note was cut and then placed in the impression plate. Now this is different than the Texturz Plates....very much like the Cuttlebug Embossing Folders. Very Vanilla was carefully rubbed over top of the raised image to give it more definition. I have to say that this impression plate is really very impressive! Just beautiful....with a nice clear, crisp impression. The tag was created with the Lots of Tags Sizzlet and then layered with the Wide Oval Punch over top.
So, thanks for stopping by and don't forget to visit the other bloggers who participate in the Challenges!

Very pretty. I especially like how you turned the bow to the side and added the embellishments to it!
